6.27.10 - The Local Soirée was last night and was HUGE success. We were packed. Big ups to everyone who came. We love sharing the experience of art and design with the community and to help bridge the gap between the things you buy and the people who bring them to you.
That, and its a great excuse to hang out, eat yummy snacks and sip champaign.
For the first time, we brought in some live music. Christian Reeb of
the Hooves & Brice Nelson put on a great folky set. Also, leads from the local band
Peachcake took a night off from recording to DJ a set. Those of you there may have heard clever uses of the Futurama and Duck Tales themes. A-whooo-ooh!
Rikki Cupcake returned with vegan sweets.
OM NOM NOM.
